Volunteer Opportunities

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service
Sahuaro Ranch Park (9802 N 59th Ave)
Saturday, January 13, 2024

Throughout his life, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. advocated for peace, unity, and service. He was committed to creating change in his community and so are the many volunteers here in Glendale. MLK Day of Service is an annual to the life of Dr. King and also a way to donate vitamin-rich citrus to families in need. In partnership with HandsOn Greater Phoenix and St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance, we are looking for over 200 volunteers to help glean fruit. Along with the fresh fruit donation, this project helps to beautify a Glendale landmark, keeping this community perfect for living working and playing! To register, please click here. For more information, please contact Stephanie Fenderson-Gonzales at 623-930-3582 or [email protected].
