Zoning defines and provides parameters for land uses in a community. Land uses can include commercial, residential, industrial, etc. These zoning districts benefit the community by establishing design/development standards for land uses.

The City of Glendale's zoning standards are established, guided, and controlled through the use of an adopted Zoning Ordinance which is located in Appendix A of the City of Glendale Municipal Code.
