City Court  

The Glendale City Court is the Judicial Branch of the Glendale City government and is also a part of the Arizona Judicial System. The Glendale City Court adjudicates criminal misdemeanors, City Code violations, traffic violations, and certain juvenile offenses committed in the City of Glendale. In cases of domestic violence and harassment, the Court issues protective orders. The Court has the authority to issue search warrants for misdemeanors and felonies.

COURT SECURITY               

X-Ray Machine

Glendale City Court has full-time security personnel who are stationed at the main entrance.

Everyone who visits the Court must pass through a metal detector and place all personal belongings through an x-ray machine to be viewed. In addition, persons and personal belongings may be subject to a search. 
Administrative Order No. 2017-15

Administrative Order 2022-001 allows use of recording devices in a courtroom or courthouse with the permission of the Court. However, camera coverage or use of portable electronic devices may be limited or denied if the harm arising from any of the factors set out in the rules outweighs the benefit to the public of camera use or coverage.
