Across the nation and in the city of Glendale, there has been an uptick in car vs. pedestrian fatalities.

To help with this, Glendale Police and Transportation departments have collaborated in some interesting ways to make streets safer for pedestrians by using innovative traffic control systems and driver and pedestrian targeted education.
