Jenny Durda Selected As Organizational Performance Director
The city of Glendale is pleased to announce the selection of Jenny Durda as the organizational performance director. Durda has been with the department since it was established in 2019 and brings more than two decades of dedicated public service to her new role.
“In today’s world, data collection is not the challenge. Rather, it’s the understanding of data that leads to improved performance and efficiency,” said Glendale City Manager Kevin Phelps. “Jenny has demonstrated her ability to analyze data and, more importantly, has used it to impact our city positively.”
In this role, Durda and her team lead the city’s efforts in data analysis and performance tracking to develop and implement strategies for improvements benefitting Glendale’s residents, businesses and employees. She also works to monitor key performance indicators across all departments and ensure alignment across the organization.
“I’m proud to serve the city and help maximize city services through the use of data management,” said Durda. “Improving processes with the support of data is critical to enhancing the lives of people we serve every day.”
Durda has served in the role on an interim basis since September of 2023. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business data analytics and a master’s degree in data analytics and policy from Johns Hopkins University. Durda currently serves as the chair for the Valley Benchmark Communities.
