The Glendale Public Library is excited to announce its new extended operating hours effective Tuesday, September 5, 2023. These changes have been implemented to provide enhanced accessibility to library resources, programs and services for Glendale residents which include consistent weekday opening hours as well as additional afternoon and evening hours.
The updated library hours are as follows:
Mondays & Thursdays: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Fridays: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturdays: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sundays: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
With these extended hours, the Glendale Public Library aims to cater to the diverse schedules and preferences of its patrons. Families, students and community members will have increased access to a wide range of educational resources, cultural events and engaging programs.
The Library is particularly excited to introduce extended programming on Thursday evenings, which will offer a broader range of activities and events for all age groups. Additionally, Wednesdays will see the library doors remain open until 4 p.m., allowing students to explore the vast collection of books and participate in various learning opportunities.
