Glendale City Council Appoints Two City Judges
The city of Glendale is pleased to announce the appointments of Eartha Washington and Jack Pritt by the Glendale City Council to serve as City Court Judges.
“Judge Washington and Judge Pritt are accustomed to high-volume case management,” said Glendale Presiding Judge Nicholas DiPiazza. “They bring two very different perspectives which will be an invaluable service to the court. We look forward to working with our new judges in our renovated courthouse, which will be completed in the first quarter of 2024.”
Judge Washington most recently served as a Commissioner of the Maricopa County Superior Court, presiding over Family, Juvenile, Lower Court and Criminal matters. The City Judges are responsible for misdemeanor, criminal and civil traffic, city code violation, and protective order cases involving alleged violations of Arizona Statutes and City of Glendale, AZ ordinances.
“As an attorney who has practiced out of Pinal County for 20-plus years, I am prepared for this role and to serve the people of Glendale,” said Judge Jack Pritt. Judges Washington and Pritt’s first day is Monday, October 16.
