Who we are:

The Glendale Police Explorers #2469 is the oldest Explorer Post in the State of Arizona. The mission of the Glendale Police Department (GPD) Explorers is to prepare our young adults for careers in law enforcement as sworn or non-sworn officers. Young adults from the age of 14.5 to 21 years of age participate in weekly meetings, community outreach programs, competitions, explorer/cadet academies, physical fitness programs, life skills training and various team building activities. All activities are accomplished under the direction of Glendale Police Officers who serve as Post Advisors.
