Our goal is to promote housing stability, ensuring that everyone has access to safe, secure housing and essential services. Whether you're seeking assistance or want to learn more about our programs, we're here to help.

Please note that program availability, deadlines, and processing times may vary. Submitting an application does not guarantee assistance. We recommend staying in contact with your landlord and calling 2-1-1 for additional resources.

Important Announcement

The Arizona Rental Assistance Program is coming to an end.  Effective September 1, 2024, rental assistance will no longer be available through the DES Arizona Rental Assistance Program. Applications for rental assistance received on or before August 31, 2024, will be processed under current program guidelines. 

Utility assistance through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and emergency housing assistance through the Short Term Crisis Services (STCS) program will continue to be available for eligible applicants.  

Glendale CAP is no longer accepting applications for diaper assistance due to funding constraints.

Under Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, the City of Glendale, AZ prohibits discrimination in admissions, programs, services, activities or employment based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age and disability. The City of Glendale, AZ must make a reasonable accommodation to allow a person with a disability to take part in a program, service, or activity.
