Why do I need to rent a ball field?

Renting a sports field ensures the right to use a specific field at a scheduled date and time.

What is required for a long-term field reservation? 

All field rental requests for 5 or more dates require the person/organization to go through the field allocation process. You will need the following items: A completed field allocation packet, a copy of insurance with the City of Glendale listed as an additional insured, and a copy of your 501(c)3 status. All long-term field reservations are handled by Darren Skousen, Recreation Coordinator [email protected]. All short-term field rental requests and those under 5 rentals, please follow the instructions listed in the next paragraph below. 

How do I make a reservation and pay for the rental?

You can make and pay for ball field reservation online, over the telephone, or in person:

In person, at the Glendale Parks & Recreation office, located inside the Glendale Adult Center, 5970 W. Brown St.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed on holidays)

NEW! Reservations/rentals for ball fields can now be made online.

How far in advance do I need to make my reservation?

Reservations must be requested a minimum of 24 hours prior to the desired date and time. Reservations for the upcoming weekend (Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday) must be made no later than 4:30 p.m., Thursday, of that week.
