The City of Glendale Gears Up to Celebrate Music, Culture, and Community
Glendale, Ariz. – The Glendale Arizona Folk & Heritage Festival 2025 invites all music lovers, culture enthusiasts, and families to join in a weekend of celebration at the historic Sahuaro Ranch Park. The festival will take place on March 1st and 2nd, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a vibrant mix of folk music, heritage arts, and family-friendly activities.

The Annual Plein Air Painting Competition will be held Saturday, March 1, in compliment to the 2025 Folk & Heritage Festival at Sahuaro Ranch Park. The competition is open to all artists over the age of 18 who paint using the Plein Air technique in oil, watercolor, acrylic or pastel.
Judging will be held in the Cafeteria Auditorium of the Glendale Adult Center, set amongst the backdrop of our Plein Air Winners from years’ past. Judging, by Glendale City Council, will begin at 3:30PM. Four award winners will be recognized, totaling $3,100 in cash prizes.
