🏠 Need Help? Start Here – Coordinated Entry

Coordinated Entry (CE) is a standardized system in Arizona designed to efficiently connect individuals and families experiencing homelessness with appropriate housing and support services. It ensures that resources are allocated fairly and based on assessed needs across the state.

To access shelter and other housing resources, you must complete a Coordinated Entry assessment in person at one of the following locations:

For Individuals
Brian Garcia Welcome Center
206 S 12th Avenue, Phoenix AZ, 85007
Phone: (602) 229-5155

For Families with Minor Children
UMOM Family Housing Hub
3307 E Van Buren Street, Phoenix AZ, 85008
Phone: (877) 211-8661
(Leave a message and someone will call back to complete the phone application)

Trained staff will work with you to understand your needs and connect you to shelter, services, and housing options.

💡 Understanding Homelessness

Homelessness is rarely caused by one thing. People may lose housing due to:

  • Job loss or medical debt
  • Domestic violence
  • Mental health struggles
  • Rising rents and lack of affordable housing
  • Displacement after incarceration or aging out of foster care

Every story is different—but all deserve to be heard with empathy and responded to with action.
