Interns

The Glendale Police Department is thrilled to offer an Internship program that is designed to develop valuable work experience to increase career objectives through hands-on learning experiences. Our internship program is centered around students and separating military personnel to observe and participate in several departments that will lead to possible sworn and non-sworn career paths.

We are now accepting applications for our Fall 2024 Session with an August 2024 placementThe application deadline is Friday, April 12, 2024. Please click here, to access the intern application. 
Intern Requirements:

Due to the sensitive nature of information and facilities that our interns are exposed to, all applicants are required to successfully complete the following steps for placement.
Opportunities – Some opportunities may or may not be available at the time of your internship placement and/or change prior to placement or after placement based on department needs.

At this time intern opportunities are Not available on nights and weekends.  Hours must be completed during operating hours to the public which is Monday - Friday from 8 am - 4 pm.
